Overview
The Rainbow air purifier is an ozone based purifier which will eliminate mold, smoke, and odors. For mold I haven’t seen anything better. But if you have allergies or asthma I wouldn’t recommend this model. Ozone does little, or nothing, for pollen or dust by itself. Rainbow Air Purifiers are very similar to Ecoquest Ozone air purifiers except for appearance and construction. Of course the price is also half or more of the Ecoquest brand, probably because the Ecoquest is an MLM product.
Ozone will remove offensive odors caused by tobacco, smoke, urine, pets, mildew, diapers, formaldehyde and other chemical fumes. You might have to replace the ozone plates every 4-9 months. The cost is 50.
The dangers of Ozone to the lungs, and how ozone works, is covered in the video below.
