Hi Brian,
Thanks for noticing that they are one and the same model (basically), sold under different names. I have reviewed this model but not under the “branded” names you mentioned. This unit is the next generation of the Ecoquest (also Alpine or Vollara) Ozone air purifier except now adds a small HEPA, Carbon and electrostatic filter onto the back intake. Made in the same factory as we saw in China.
Here are a few of my thoughts on it:
1) Square Footage – the “Up to 3,000 square feet” claims are the result of ozone. Ozone goes out into the room and has nothing to do with what gets cleaned going through the machine.
2) Be careful with ozone as too much will irritate lungs and airways. It is not recommended for asthmatics or allergic people. Ozone is great for smoke and mold (the best) but does little or nothing for dust and pollen.
3) The small HEPA on the back of the unit will clear dust and pollen in approx. a 300 square foot range, based on the fan strength (I own one of these by the way).
4) The carbon filter will do about the same for gathering odor and fumes (although the ozone will do the same so I’m not quite sure why it needs carbon – unless that’s just to make it sound more comprehensive for marketing).
Of course the price difference ($339 for Greenair and $159 for Microlux) reflects the real value.
Replacement filters are $25, Carbon $18, UV bulbs $15. (The lifetime HEPA of the GreenairPro is very misleading). This is expensive for their small size (approx. 10 x 8 x 1/2 inch HEPA).
If odor is your primary issue, and you aren’t sensitive to Ozone, then the Microlux ML4000 or the GreenairPro air purifier is a good buy. If you want to get rid of dust and pollen (allergies?) then a bigger HEPA air purifier would be a better buy.

p.s. I know there are some slight differences in the Greenair Pro (like UV) but the differences are small when looking at the primary function of this design – namely as an ozone machine.
